2019 Conference Speakers
The Graphene+ Enabled Smart Cities conference takes place on 19th November, 2019 in Melbourne. It explores how graphene will play a crucial part in revolutionising the functionality of buildings and improving productivity in construction, infrastructure, energy and mobility.

Australia is positioned to be a global leader in Smart City technologies. Australian materials science researchers are acknowledged to be among the leaders in graphene research for large scale industrial applications:

International and local speakers will provide insights into the potential of

  • Low cost, Large scale sensing for IoT;
  • Stronger, light weight concrete produced with a significant reduction in CO2 Low cost;
  • Highly efficient water purification enabling ubiquitous potable water, and;
  • Energy capture and conservation.

The commercial opportunities for integrating graphene into large scale applications are starting to emerge. Those that are early adopters and integrators will reap the rewards.
